The formation of the committee is issued by a decision of Prof. Dr. Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies, Research and Cultural Affairs per three years as follows

1- Chairman of the Committee (A professor at Mansoura University).

2- Cochairman of the Committee (A professor at Mansoura University).

3- A member from each Faculty that deals with or uses animals in research (Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Science, Agriculture).

4- A legal member (A Faculty member at the Faculty of Law).

5- A member represents the general community - from outside the University, with experience in animal-related activities.

6- A committee secretary (Director of the General Administration of Research of the University).
